Our Salsa Style & Class Levels
The main style of Salsa we teach is Cuban Style Salsa
and Rueda. All our regular weekly Salsa Classes start
with a warm -up which includes body movement, footwork
and timing. We then progress to partner work. In the
intermediate and advanced levels we teach partner
work and Rueda.

Cuban Salsa
Beginners Discover the rhythm and energy
of Salsa in a dynamic and fun class. This is the
core of Salsa. These classes focus on understanding
Latin Rhythm through body movement, basic footwork
and partner work. For students with little or
no previous experience |

Cuban Salsa
Intermediate 1 For students who have done
at least 6 beginners classes and who are confident
with all the basic's covered in beginners. Learn
to become better leaders or followers using the
Dile que no step and basic turns as a base and
building sequences. You will also be introduced
to Rueda (Cuban Salsa danced in a circle) |

Rueda Fundamentals
New Course for 2010. This is for students who have completed Beginners
& Level 1 Cuban Salsa. Learn the dynamics of the Cuban Salsa wheel
"Rueda". Use all the moves you've alraedy learn't plus new ones
to make the circle flow like clockwork and have fun with your Salsa in a group!
This course plus Level 1 Intermediate are both necessary if you'd like to progress
to our Level 2 Intermediate classes |

Cuban Salsa
Intermediate 2 You must have completed
Salsa Beginners and Intermediate 1 or the equivalent
before progressing to intermediate 2 and in some
cases you may need 2 terms of intermediate 1.
By this stage you should be very confident with
your timing and guys - be good leaders, ladies
- be good followers. You will learn different
turn patterns and more Rueda moves. You should
also be a confident social dancer by this stage
or well on your way |

Cuban Salsa
Advanced This is an invitation only class.
It is designed for students progressing from intermediate
2 or the equivalent who are ready for something
more challenging! You must be a confident Salsa
dancer. Previous knowledge of Rueda up to intermediate
level 2 is required. You will learn more complicated
footwork and partner work and more advanced Rueda
moves. You will also learn to become smoother,
more confident dancers with tips on things like
spins, movement and styling
