Sky Blue is the founder and director of Picante Latin Dance and utilises her skills as dance teacher, choreographer, performer, costume designer and event organiser to bring her passion for the Latino world to life.

She has a great desire to help people learn more about this rich, inspiring culture and says "It is not just a business for me, it's a way of life and I cannot live without it!"

Sky trained as a dancer in Australia and then traveled to Cuba, Columbia, Spain and Brazil to study the authentic dance styles she teaches. She has also studied design and small business management and worked as a costume maker and designer for theatre, film and major events including the Sydney Olympic Games and Mardi Gras and Rio Carnival, Brazil.

The annual Byron Latin Fiesta is Sky's latest creation and promises to be an event not to be missed in 2007.
